RE:                  2006 ACADEMIC FEDERATION AWARD FOR
                        EXCELLENCE IN RESEARCH

I am pleased to announce the seventh annual Call for Nominations for the Academic Federation's Award for Excellence in Research. This award is given in recognition of the contributions made to the research mission of the Davis campus by non-Senate faculty members, and carries with it a stipend of $500 to the recipient.

The 2006 Call for Nominations can be found at http://www.mrak.ucdavis.edu/acadfed/af_research_call_for_nominations_2006.pdf. ANY member of the campus community can make nominations (students, faculty, staff, and alumni).

Copies of a poster will be sent separately to all departments and units.
