RE:                 2006 ACADEMIC FEDERATION AWARD FOR
                        EXCELLENCE IN TEACHING

I am pleased to announce the 16th annual Call for Nominations for the 2006 Academic Federation Award for Excellence in Teaching. This award is given in recognition of the contributions made to the teaching mission of the Davis campus by non-Senate faculty members, and it carries with it a stipend of $500 to the recipient.

The 2006 Call for Nominations can be found at http://www.mrak.ucdavis.edu/acadefed/awards_exc_teaching_call.pdf.  ANY member of the campus community can make nominations, and we particularly encourage students to nominate their outstanding instructors.

Copies of a poster announcing the call will be sent separately to all departments and units.
