RE: The Academic Federation announces the 33rd Annual James H. Meyer Distinguished Achievement Award. CALL FOR NOMINATIONS: The Academic Federation is pleased to announce the call for nominations for the James H. Meyer Distinguished Achievement Award. This award will be presented in the fall and carries a stipend of $1000. NOMINATIONS: All members of the University community - Academic Federation, Academic Senate, students, and staff - are invited to nominate a member of the Academic Federation for this award. QUALIFICATIONS: Each nominee must be a member of the Academic Federation (see following list of eligible titles). The award is based on a distinguished career in research, teaching and/or public service. Past recipients (see following list) are not eligible. NOMINATION MATERIALS: The nomination must include the following: · a current CV, including complete lists of publications and contributions to university and public service; and, · a brief statement, not more than three pages, outlining the achievements of the candidate

LIST OF MEMBERSHIP TITLES OF THE ACADEMIC FEDERATION
Regular members of the Academic Federation shall be salaried academic appointees who are not members of the Academic Senate and: (1) hold an appointment on the Davis campus; or (2) hold a Universitywide appointment, but are located on the Davis campus; or (3) work at a location remote from the Davis campus, but report administratively to the Davis campus. Membership will be limited to persons who hold appointments in one of a combination of the following academic titles.
