Douglas Gross

Pediatrics and Cell Biology and Human Anatomy

Professor Gross provides his proficient clinical expertise as a pediatrician without compensation in order to address medical needs in the U.S. and in other nations. Some of his various volunteer efforts include the following: serving as a Katrina relief volunteer physician in New Orleans, participating in the Medical Intercultural Opportunities for Students group in Nicaragua, leading and directing several Guatemala Medical Missions, serving as director of Medical Missions to Africa, and volunteering as a physician at the UC Davis student-run Imani Clinic in Sacramento. He and his family also serve the community by providing foster care to children in need throughout Yolo County.
