Environmental Science and Policy
Recipient 2006-2007
|
Professor Ogden’s primary
research interest in technical and
economic assessment of new
energy technologies has motivated
her to serve in various capacities to address the compelling energy
issues facing the U.S. The following are a few of the areas that
demonstrate Professor Ogden’s voluntary public service contributions:
serving as an advisor to the U.S. Department of Energy
(DOE) on hydrogen, assisting in the development of a R&D
roadmap for carbon sequestration, evaluating DOE’s Advanced
Automotive Technologies Program, evaluating DOE’s energy
research portfolio, participating in the DOE “hydrogen vision”
meeting, and leading the “integration team” for DOE’s Hydrogen
Roadmap process. She also serves on the Governor’s advisory
panel to help implement a plan to make hydrogen a major
transportation fuel.
